She also devotes much time and effort to educating and assisting people to learn about their legal rights: she taught re-entry women about various areas of the law at the community and college level; has given numerous lectures and seminars to clubs and organizations; and has volunteered much time to educating men and women on their rights in the area of family law by organizing and moderating free Family Law Forums throughout Ventura County for over ten years.
